Based on my quick study of Gulbis' 10-photo online portfolio, there's not a golf club to be seen but that apparently isn't the reason she's in the swimsuit edition.
In fact, she's not even wearing a bikini. Gulbis is wearing body paint that looks like a bikini. Having painted a room or two myself, I couldn't help wondering if they put that blue tape on Gulbis before they began painting her, uh, pretend bikini.
The good news for golfers is Gulbis is included in the magazine as part of an athletes in body paint section, which should answer once and for all the eternal question are golfers athletes.

If you look closely at the pictures, you can see what appears to be shadows of the bikini straps,the last time I painted any thing I don't believe it left shadows.
this makes her an athlete? she's a golfer, the ultimate hobby of old people that can't do anything else.

Natalie Coughlin is actually the best looking one in the entire photo spread...just gorgeous. I wonder if they created the paint so it would actually stay on if you went swimming. Can you just imagine the new phenomenon at the beaches!

I'm guessing the shadows are part of the airbrush/paint work. The photos have been photo-shopped...so much so that a few look cartoonish.
