Tiger Blogs About Augusta, Quail And His 63

In a blog posted on his website, Tiger Woods says the warm reaction from the gallery at the Masters was more than he expected and something he won't forget.

Woods says in his blog that finishing fourth after his layoff and all that has happened in his life was "pretty cool."

He reiterated his desire to control his emotional outbursts after television captured him cursing at himself during the Masters and added that he will continue to officially commit to tournaments earlier than in the past, if he can.

Woods also made a point in his blog to congratulate Phil Mickelson on his Masters victory and acknowledge Lorena Ochoa's retirement from golf.

Woods said he went scuba diving and spent time with his family after the Masters. He also shot 63 at Isleworth with his friend, John Cook, making a double-eagle in the process.

As for his upcoming visit to Charlotte, Woods wrote: "Next week, I return to competition at the Quail Hollow Championship in North Carolina. Quail Hollow Club is one of my favorite courses on tour. It's traditional, right in front of you, difficult, and you have to shape shots both ways. I managed to win there in 2007 and look forward to going back."

This is news?

Not sure why he would say North Carolina rather than Charlotte. Never hear him mention other stops by the state name rather than the sponsoring city.

Anon 3:20 - Probably because if he said Charlotte half the geographically-challenged US wouldn't have any bloody idea where it is. Larry Brown's wife recently said her husband was working for the NBA team in Charlotte, SC.

Anon 3:16 - yes, it is. I hate to ruin the day of all you Tiger haters, but the fact is, a PGA event is either a major, a Tiger event or a non-Tiger event. He's the greatest golfer who ever lived, and the fact that he loves our tournament is a big deal.

Not sure he is the greatest golfer of all time, but he is one of the greatest scumbags of all time. While he may pass Nicklaus in all time major wins, he will never regain the admiration that he once had from the general and golfing public. Personally, I don't "hate" woods...He has done nothing to me nor for me. However, as a lover of golf I could personally care less if he ever comes to "our tournament" again.

Why does anyone care about another mans personal life???? Jeez get over it! If you are free from doing anything bad in your life than you may comment, but I doubt GOD reads the Charlotte Observer.GO TIGER!!!!

God might not read the Charlotte Observer but he did say something about committing adultery. If you want to love an adulterer that is your choice. But the rest of us don't have to follow the media's lead.

Wow. Thanks for this incredibly informative post. You know, when I want to read what Tiger Woods writes on his blog, I don't think to go to his blog - I immediately think, "Which lazy Observer writer is most likely to cut-and-paste Tiger's blog into his own column?"

OK, his finish at The Masters was pretty good. But he should still be suspended by the PGA Tour for six months for bringing negative publicity to golf and the tour. Same reason Finchem suspends everyone else. Won't happen because Finchem doesn't have the balls because there's too much money involved. Consequently, Finchem should now not suspend anyone for anything short of murder.

The press will keep Tiger's name in the headlines, that and his tracks. Let's have news about golf, not this crap.

Wet dreams and masturbation thinking about Tiger ...

Eldricks old man Earl nicknamed his kid in a off brand pc racist manner after a tiger because his mistress who he later married was from Thailand where tigers run wild and throughout all of southeast Asia.
